On a recent trip overseas, Jamie Green realised how lucky he was to travel the world blessed with good eyesight and a camera; and so the idea for Shed Sight was born. We've created an organisation that has a mission to give back, restoring eyesight for people with each print sold.
Deteriorating eyesight affects around 285 Million people around the world, but many of these people could be blessed with the opportunity to increase their vision for a relatively low cost. With our print partner Format Framing, we donate a portion from each print & frame sold to Fred Hollows Foundation who are dedicated to restoring eyesight around the world.
Your printing and framing is in good hands, our Melbourne friends Format Framing print to a 300 gsm 100% cotton rag stock using frame mouldings made from locally sourced sustainable Australian hardwood and a 3mm Plexiglass museum grade, It is lighter than glass and helps to protect your work from UV. Your frame will be carefully hand assembled in our Melbourne studio. It will be sealed using framer’s wax tape and wired so it is ready to hang on your wall.
